Gui Andrade was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
He started his career as a Web Developer in 1996 and naturally developed his knowledge of Web Production as circumstances changed due to technological advances and very often as a consequence of the Browser Wars.
He has worked for a number of well established Web Studios such as Lazo and ADDX (Former Agencia X).
Previously he has worked for WB2 & TNT, which later merged to form Lazo.
When Lazo was launched it figured among the three most important Web Studios in Latin America, and was one of the biggest in the whole of the Americas.
He also worked for the now extinct Neubauten, and Rubinger Internet Studios that at the time (1998-2001) were trying to output Avant-garde designs and concepts, including a sizable amount of Flash animations and other multimedia resources in order to create more lively experiences to the user; In the process trying to use as much CSS as possible, despite the table based techniques used at the time.
His role in the production team has always been as a Front-End Developer using (X)HTML/CSS to W3C Standards and with a lot of attention to Accessibility and Usability.
He is based in London where he has lived since 2002.
